Wondering · Works

Small tools for the gap between thinking and doing.

在「想到」和「做到」之间,
做一些安静的小工具。

An independent software studio in Sydney. We build for the friction we hit ourselves — speech that outruns typing, attention that disappears without a trace, a keyboard that forgot what your hands already know.

Ramble

双语语音听写

Speak Chinese, English, or both in the same breath — Ramble writes it down the way you meant it. Punctuation and capitalisation are decided by meaning rather than by where you paused, so stopping to think mid-sentence doesn't cost you a full stop. A system keyboard puts it in every app on the phone; the Mac app puts it anywhere you can type.

Life Matrix

注意力去哪儿了

Where the day actually went. Life Matrix watches quietly in the background and turns a day at the desk into evidence you can look at — not a scoreboard, not a streak, just an honest record of what held your attention and for how long.

Windows Shortcuts for Mac

让 Mac 听懂 Windows 的手感

Muscle memory shouldn't be a tax on switching machines. This brings Windows' keyboard grammar to macOS — Ctrl for copy and paste, Home and End where your hands expect them — so a lifetime of typing habits keeps working. Free, and open source.

关于 About

Wondering Works is an independent software studio based in Sydney, Australia. We build tools in two languages, for people who live in two languages.

Our work starts with friction we run into ourselves. That's the whole method: use it daily, notice what gets in the way, fix it, ship it again tomorrow. It makes for opinionated software — and for software that stays quiet, because the tool you notice is the tool that's in the way.
